Memorial services for Judy Gail Galloway of Monroe will be Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Monroe with Reverend Jerry Whitman officiating. Services are under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Ms Galloway was born February 11, 1951 in Ruston, LA and passed away March 11, 2011 in Monroe, LA. She was a retired purchasing agent at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and a member of the Methodist Faith. She had been involved in numerous musical and artistic activities, including Masterworks, Little Theater shows and church choir. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Louise Galloway. Judy was kindhearted and fun loving. To say she will be missed doesn't begin to express the loss we feel for this beautiful woman. She will always be lovingly remembered as “Booty.” She poured out love and generosity to all those she met, but especially to her sister, her beloved Jordy, as well as best friends, Robert and Richard. We will miss her warmth and compassion. Ms. Galloway is survived by a sister, Betty Malone and husband Robert; a brother, Larry Galloway and wife Joann; a nephew Jordan Fontana, a niece Kristin Willets, a number of family members and friends, and her beloved dog “Trixie.” There will be a gathering of friends and family on Wednesday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time.
