Juantez Honea Turnbow, age 92, born on August 20, 1931 in Prescott, AR and passed away on January 21, 2024 in Monroe, LA.

A service led by Rev. Eugene Brown to honor Juantez’s life will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 1200 Lamy Lane, Monroe.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Lamy Lane location. Burial will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe, LA.  All services are under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home-Monroe.

Juantez was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years and the love of her life, Tom Turnbow, Sr.; her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Bessie Finley Honea; her 12 brothers and sisters.

Left to mourn Juantez’s  passing are her children, Angela Thomson, Karen Hofford (Coy), Bonnie Robinette (Stewart), Sheryl Turnbow, Cindy Green (Bryan) and Tom Turnbow, Jr. (Julie); grandchildren, Rob Thomson (Charlene), Kristi Thomson, Josh Hofford (Cassie), Reagan Wages (Jon), Micah Green, Seth Green (Natalie), Anna Grace Green, Abby Pepper (John), Tally Walker (Cody) and Rachel Turnbow; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Cait and Ben Thomson, Jordan and Julia Thomson, Alyssa and Fianna Hofford.

Juantez loved the Lord and was a faithful pastor’s wife for 50 years. Prior to starting her family, she worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in Dallas, TX.  Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her life revolved around them and she loved attending events for them.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Josh Hofford, Rob Thomson, Jon Wages, John Pepper, Cody Walker, and Seth Green. Honorary Pallbearer will be Ben Thomson.
