Funeral services for Joyce Elliott “Granny” Moore, 78, of Bernice, will be held Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church in Bernice, Louisiana with Rev. Phillip Farris officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery in Bernice, LA. Visitation for Ms Moore will be at Shiloh Baptist Church on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 5:00 PM Ms Moore was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Bernice. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hailard Moore Sr. She is survived by daughter, Donna Hall of Bernice, LA; daughter, Diane Lay and husband Terry of Bernice, LA; son, Hailard Moore Jr. and wife Teresa of Bernice, LA; sister, Macy Mersmen and husband Curtis of Houston, TX; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bob Buckley, Wyatt Carney, Jerome Wilson, Tommy Williams, Eddie Lee, Larry Green and Perry Meyers.
