Dianna and Angie, Mom, Darwin and I were so sad to hear of Ms. Joyce's passing. She was so kind to come to dad's visitation last summer and it meant so much to mom to be able to visit with her about the "old days". Know that the both of you are in our prayers. You have our deepest sympathy. Tamara Miller Hindmon

We are so sorry to hear about Mrs. Joyce. Even when she was ill she sent cards to my sweet mother encouraging her. She was a very special lady and I know she will be missed. Maybe when she entered the gates of heaven my mother was one of the first people she saw. It would sure be a privilege for both. Daddy just found out and has said he is so sorry to hear about it and as soon as he gets back to town he will be seeing you all. We will be remembering you not only now, but in the days, weeks and months to come. Jana Yarbrough Johnny Wilbanks Jennifer Purvis

Dianna, It seems like yesterday that I spent the night with you on "Eason Place" and we ate Ravioli from the can - I remember you had black leather furniture, and I remember your Mom cooking the ravioli for us..... Wow! time goes by so fast. Our prayers and thoughts are with you, and please take the time to remember those good times. You should feel very blessed to have a Mother who loved you and cherished the special friendship she shared with her daugters. Love you, Missy

Ms. Frazier, Leta, Sonny, Jim, and family: ìAuntî Joyce touched my life with her laughter, humor, and kindness. More importantly, I will forever remember the beautiful, heartfelt notes she wrote me during my chemotherapy. Her words provided comfort, healing, and assurance that she was praying for me. She was very special. and I thank our heavenly Father that He sent her to give me strength. I am comforted that she no longer suffers and lives with Him the wonderful eternal life he promises. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I have so many memories of Mrs. Joyce. What a patient woman to put up with all that we did through the years! Gosh, all 30+ years that we've been friends. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and I'm so glad to have known her. My heart goes out to you Dianna and Angie, but I know how tired she must have been. Now she can rest. Cherish those memories. I know I will! Love you!

Dianna, Angie, and families, We want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. I know your mother has fought a very courageous fight and now she has to suffer no more. I have many memories of those days back in Lakewood Estates....the pool, pokeno, watching Angie and Kim cheer for Gray-Y, and Dianna on the Swartz Drill Team blue sequins, and hundreds of other wonderful memories. She loved you both very much and worked hard to make sure you had everything you needed to be involved. I am sorry she had to suffer so much, but I know she is in heaven now...and has already met up with Addie and Glenda. It is hard to imagine all three of them gone...I think of them together since we all played pokeno together and did the neighborhood things. We haven't seen you in a long time, but we will never forget all those good times...And now you think of all those good times you had with your mother and the support that she was. You will have wonderful memories and you will treasure them. We love you both and are thinking of you in these days to come. I am praying that God will give you peace and comfort.
