Services for Mrs. Joyce L. Booth, 94, West Monroe, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2023, at the Luna Assembly of God Church with Pastor Joel Brackett officiating.  Burial will be in the Luna Assembly of God Church Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, Louisiana.

Mrs. Booth went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Landmark Nursing and Rehab, West Monroe, Louisiana after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Booth was a native and lifelong resident of West Monroe.  She was a lifetime and faithful member of Luna Assembly of God Church.

Mrs. Booth was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Woodrow Booth; daughter and son- in- law Linda Gail and David Shipley; brothers; Milton Lenard, Alvin Lenard and Calvin Lenard; sister; Verdia Robert.

Left to cherish her memory and carry out her legacy; son Travis Booth, daughter- in-law Debbie Booth, grandchildren; Michelle Hopkins (Keith), Crystal Cole (Alfred), Melanie Powell (Ricky), Jeremy Booth (Amanda), Jessie Beach (Andrew); great-grandchildren; Dylan Booth, Alfred Cole Jr., Jaycee Hopkins, Jolie Hopkins, Trigger Booth, Chance Cole, Titan Booth, Beckett Beach and Verdia Mae Beach.  special friend Jewel Dowdy,  and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Murphy Jr., Jeremy Booth, Dylan Booth, Alfred Cole Jr., Trigger Booth, and Chance Cole.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2023, in the sanctuary of Luna Assembly of God Church.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the Landmark nursing staff: Susan, Tiger, Taylor, and Daviona for the care and compassion they provided.  A special thanks also to the staff at Ascend Hospice Care.
