Funeral services for Jovinie Daniel, 92, will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in Monroe. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Kilpatrick Funeral Homes ~ Monroe.

Jovinie was born in Cloutierville, Louisiana on April 11, 1929 and passed away in West Monroe on May 17, 2021. She was the “Elevator Lady” at St. Francis Hotel, and a waitress for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mac and Katherine LaCaze; husband, Don Daniel; sons, Cecil Day and Donnie Daniel; daughter, Doris Bass; brother, Wesley LaCaze; and sisters, Katie Kahnel and Betty Bolton. Jovinie is survived by her daughters, Helen Davis (Bill) and Sandra Clower (Wayne); grandchildren, Angela, Alan, Michael, Breanne, Adam, Theresa, Laurie, Michael, Terry, Mark, Steve, Mark, Debbie, and Sandy; sisters, Donna Harwell, Katherine Boyett, and Betty Kerry; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
