Joe was born in Ruston on March 10, 1942 and died at his home on November 13, 2020. His life was marked with great love for his family and friends. He was “Pop” to seven grandchildren, and they brought him the greatest joy. He is preceded in death by parents J.L. “Buddy” and Mary Leckie Glasgow.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Hasson Jones Glasgow, of Ruston; son Joseph Richard Glasgow, Jr. and wife Aimee of Little Rock, AR; daughter Mary Schumpert Glasgow Germany and husband Kent of Columbia, SC; daughter Nancy Elise Glasgow Hunt and husband Trotter of Ruston; grandchildren Katherine Glasgow, Elise, Sarah, and Margaret Germany, Mary Laura, Alex, and Holt Hunt; sisters Mary Lynn Porter of Auburn, AL and Sarah Glasgow of Berkeley, CA; and brother Davis Glasgow and wife Patricia of Loveland, CO.

Sorry to hear of Joes passing. Some of my fondest memories are of duck hunting with my father , Joe, and others while I was growing up. He was definitely an original and there won’t be another like him! Sorry to say that I can’t attend the service because of a scheduled appointment but please know my thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.
