Funeral services for Johnny Hollis, 77 of West Monroe, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 28, 2019 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Rev. Waymond Warren will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe on Monday.Johnny was born January 19, 1942 in West Monroe and passed away on January 24, 2019 in West Monroe. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of AmVets. Johnny retired from Monroe Warehouse. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruben Herman Hollis, Emma Irene Simpson Hollis Albritton and husband J.C; sister, Carolyn Phillips; nephew, Keith Alan Hollis.Johnny is survived by his daughter, Renee Todd; grandsons, Joey McElroy and wife Catherine, Jacob Todd; sisters, Kaye Cannon and husband Morgan, Penny Stark and husband Ron; brothers, Randy Hollis, Roger Hollis and wife Rose, Bob Hollis and wife Linda, Jerry Hollis; great-grandchildren, Devyn McElroy, Andrew McElroy; many other cherished family and friends.
