Jon Barker left a message on May 20, 2018:
My wife, Claudine Price Barker, and I were saddened to learn of John's death. We were class mates at Ouachita Parish High School, and I at Louisiana Tech University. We've enjoyed the OPHS reunions and catching up with John's endeavors--things he never bragged about. For a man who had accomplished so much in life, he was quite modest when one considers his abilities and attainments. Rest in Peace, Friend. May the family members be comforted by our Heavenly Father, and may each of you find Strength and Courage through Him. I think John would wish for you to eventually find Joy.
