Funeral services for John T. Brown Jr., 50, of West Monroe will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 22, 2018 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Pastor Bill Taylor will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.John was born April 12, 1968 in Sterlington, LA and passed September 18, 2018 in West Monroe. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Brown and mother-in-law, Mary Ann Owens and grandmother, Jewel L. Patrick. John was a business owner, dump truck driver and heavy equipment operator. He loved to hunt, fish and cut hay. John greatest joy and happiest times of his life were with his family. John would tell anyone the happiest times of his life was the first time he held Owen and Ellie and the days we brought them home from the hospital. John is survived by his wife and mother of his children, Jamie Brown; son, Owen Ray Brown; daughter, Ellie Mae Brown; mother, Sue Brown; father-in-law, Guy Rusty Owens and wife Diane; sister, Christine Brown; nephew, Drew Zeigler and wife Taylor; brother-in-law, Guy Owens and wife Cindy; niece, Misty Anderson and husband Randal; nephew, Justin Owens; sister-in-law, Jennifer Fitzgerald and husband Jason; numerous cousins, family and friends.Pallbearers will be Kevin Patrick, Darin Patrick, Shannon Fletcher, Mike Patrick, Alan Blakeney and Mike Jones. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.comKilpatrick Funeral HomeWest Monroe, LA
