Mr. John S. McDuffie Funeral services for Mr. John S. McDuffie, 72, of West Monroe, will be at 10:00AM on Saturday, June 30, 2007, in the Chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Rev. Orville Potter officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum in Monroe Memorial Park under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Born November 18, 1934, in Monroe, Mr. McDuffie was a retired scales technician in the food service industry. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he was of the Episcopalian faith and was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his beloved wife, Jane Moneaux McDuffie; a daughter, Mary Hammett; 3 sons, David McDuffie and his fiance≠, Tomme Johnson, Bill McDuffie and wife, Rie, and Windsor McDuffie and wife, Kimberly; a stepdaughter, Sharon Desadier and husband, Robin; a stepson, Chuck Desadier and wife, Lisa; his brother, Norman McDuffie and wife, Edith; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. Pallbearers include Jason and Josh Desadier, Sonny Hopfinger, Bob Burger, and Paul Stephenson. Honorary pallbearers include Chuck and Robin Desadier. The family respectfully requests the flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to the Building Fund of St. Paschal≠s Catholic Church in West Monroe. Visitation will be Friday from 5PM until 8PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
