Dear Margaret and Kayla and family: My heart aches for you. I learned of Sonny's passing, but I will forever remember are his many acts and words of kindness to Chet and our boys when they were little at First Methodist and his infectious smile which won the hearts of his family and friends. Blessings to you from the FAther above and may His Spirit bring comfort to your soul and peace. In Christ, Becky and Chet Harrod
I miss you terribly Uncle Sonny. You are an inspiration and a role model and I only hope that I can touch half as many lives as you did while here with us. I am comforted in knowing you are "a winner either way". I am thankful to have known you and feel unbelievably blessed to be able to call you my uncle. Your legacy will live on.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
Margaret & Kayla Judy and I wanted express our deepest sympathy in hearing of Sonny's death. I want you to know that both of you are in our prayers. As you well know Judy and I fully understand the feelings and thoughts that both of you are currently experiencing at this moment. I can only say this: "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal". I honestly do not know who said this but it does seem to fit in times like this. May God bring both of you peace! Jim

Sonny, will be greatly missed. He never met a stranger or if he did it wqasnt for long. He taught me so much and what i am today is because of Sonny. Even when i messed up he would encouarge me to keep trying. All those lony hours he took to lead, teach and demonstrate leadership ill always be remembered and i practice those skills everyday. He always said Dewey you got to see the job finished in your mind before you even begin to appreciate your work and how people will see your Love for the job. Sonny was my second Dad and taught me so much I Loved Sonny for the man he was. Everybody knew Sonny and i am glad to have been a small part of his life. He touched so many lives while serving his LORD, I am reminded Paul when i think back over Sonny Life and what he gave to this world and how he lived his life . McKee Electronics will always be a part of me and Sonny will always have aspecial place in my Heart for who he was. To Ms. Margaret,Kayla && Rick if i can help in any way PLEASE as Sonny would say Call me. A friend who will miss him greatly like i miss my real DAD. Dewey Wood PS: I thank God for allowing me to be a part of the McKee History""""""""
Mr. McKee was like a member of our family, and we were family to him. He was always there for us. He was there to comfort and help when Great Grandmother passed in 1970 and then when Grandmother passed on. When Dad took ill, we always depended on Mr. McKee. He looked after Dad as if he was Dad's brother and guardian. I do not know what I would have done with Dad if Mr. McKee had not been there for us. Dad left us in 1998. Mr. McKee continued to help us with my younger brother Fredrick. Many times he was the only one who would make that journey to see Fredrick. He would write and talk with him as often as he could. There certainly was not a better, more Christian man than Mr. John P. McKee, Jr. He lived out the gospel of Christ daily in his every action. He cared for people, and he showed that Christian love in his dealings with everyone. To Mrs. Margaret McKee and family, you have our continued faith and love. You have our prayers and condolences at this time. Please know that we are here for you when you need us. The Harrises: Jerry and Patsy. Fredrick Lewis and Ruby Lewis We miss the man that we affectionally called "Mr. Sonny."
