There are so many good things I could say about my brother and his life. He worshiped his family and loved each and everyone. He always made sure everyone was happy and content when they came to his home. We will miss him but I find comfort in the fact that he is no longer in pain and finally at rest. He fought a long hard battle and wanted so bad to go home to be with his family. He took pride in his cabinet work and Jesus has an expert helper by his side now. I have a cabinet and a trunk that he made for me and I will cherish them forever. Rest now Johnny and we will meet again. I love you.

John was a fine gentlemen, always willing to give you a helping hand. I have one of his pieces of cabintry that he designed and built for me. It will always be with me as a reminder of John's talents. When I informed one of John's long time acquantainces of his passing, he wrote, "I think of John often and remember him giving the best of himself to his friends and our team." His passing is just a new beginning for John, may he rest in peace with the Lord.

Dear Pam, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with you @ LDOL, 18th & Auburn from 1972-81 as Rosetta Slack. I left to enter ULM School of Nursing. I will always remember how you spoke of John, Christy & Jimbo. They were your whole world. I once spotted You & John entering Olive Garden as my husband & I were just leaving. I was getting into our car. You still are a very beautiful person. Again, I wish you & your family well & please accept my deepest sympathy.
