John Samuel ¨Johnny Medlin Jr. Funeral services for John Samuel ¨Johnny Medlin Jr., 61, of Marion, LA, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Bro. Bubba Hoggatt. Interment will follow at Marion Cemetery, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mr. Medlin was the owner and operator of Medlin Saw Shop in Marion, LA. He was an avid gardener and fisherman, and he also enjoyed spending time at the farm with his game fowl. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Medlin of Marion, LA; daughter, Sonya Baker and husband Buzz of Marion, LA; grandson, Garris Baker of Marion, LA; brothers and sisters, Walter Medlin and wife Donna of Marion, LA; Dottie Farr and husband Lum of Weatherford, TX; Wade Medlin and wife Moira of Marion, LA; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
