John David Sims, 72, of Eros, LA was born June 27, 1951 and passed away on August 31, 2023.
David was retired from Graphic Packaging after being employed for over forty years. He loved to fish, play pool and scuba dive. He was preceded in death by his parents John Sims and Bettye and Marshall Baugh.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years Lou Anne Sims; daughter Amy Nicole Sims Carlisle and husband Brad; twin brother James Dennis Sims (Connie); sister-in-law; Carol Sinclair (Steve), Gail Myers (Lynn); special friends Wanda Hall (Gurvis), Stan Neely (Lisa), and Jimmy Bise (Sheila).
A gathering for friends will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. until 5:30 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
