Memorial visitation for John Coronado, 75, of West Monroe will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home ~ West Monroe.John was born July 25, 1944 in Baskin and passed away December 4, 2019 in West Monroe. He retired from Monroe News-Star. John was preceded in death by his parents, Salvador and Andrea Coronado; brother, Sal Coronado, Jr.; sisters, Ann Remides and Juanita Rogers.John is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Donna Forrest Coronado; daughter, Michelle Coronado (Paul Brown); grandson, Dawson Hendry; brother, Chet P. Coronado (Grace); sister, Eva C. My sincere condolences to Donna and All Family. I regret not to be with you. Francis Landreaux

I feel so sorry for what has happened, I know you have been through alot the past years, I hope you will be OK, you have a close loving family.

So sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers to your family. I knew John my entire life. He was always so kind and nice to everyone.

John was one of my best friends for over 60 years from St. Paschal's thru St. Matthew's and beyond. We were baseball players and drag racers in the 1960's and softball players in the 1970's. He loved building Hot Rods, fishing and his family. I remember when Donna and John first met and were married and he was my Best Man at my wedding in 1969. John truly was one of the "Best" people that I met in my lifetime. My deepest sympathies to Donna, Michelle and the family. We now live in Texas and due to my wife's health, we will not be able to attend.

I was so sorry to hear about John. He was a member of our St. Matthew class of 1964. Always so friendly. He and Donna attended our 45th class reunion. I was so glad to see them there. My deepest sympathies to Donna and family. May he Rest In Peace

Donna, my sincere condolences. I remember the many fond memories playing softball with John (and the pizza parties afterwards) on the News-Star-World teams back in the 70s. Special times working with the most special folks I've ever been around. May John R.I.P and God less you.
