John was born March 14, 1980 and passed away from this world on October 17, 2022. He was a devoted husband and father for nineteen years and the proud son of Jimmy and Debbie Knight whom he cherished. John was a faithful member of Christian Life Church, and he was an active staff member for CLC Students. He lived his life for his boys and wife. He loved the outdoors and hunting, and sharing that love and bond with his sons. Those memories made with their father, his sons will cherish for a lifetime. John had a great sense of humor, and he never shied away from telling embarrassing stories about himself. John truly left his mark on this world. John became a friend on his first “hello.” A friend that would be there to help in a moment’s notice. This world was a better place with John Knight in it. For all that knew him, he is loved and will be missed. John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Shirley Parker Knight and Wilson Earl Knight and William Reaves and Arlene Briles Reaves; brother-in-law, Michael Gossett and uncle, Billy Knight.
John is survived by his wife Renae Knight; children, Garrett Knight, Hunter Knight and Grayson Knight; parents, Jimmy and Debbie Knight; brother, Jimmy Knight, Jr. and wife, Kathy; sister, Kelly Moore husband Glenn; brother-in-law, Justin Gossett and wife Renee; sister-in-law, Beth Butler and husband Mark; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Knight Jr., Jonathan Pounds, Jaylen Barnes, Darren Guess, Jeff Acreman, Josh Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be the Christian Life Church Youth and Staff.
