Funeral services for Joe Lindsey, 46, of Luna, LA will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, May 11, 2012 in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Pastor Gene Benson and Pastor Nathan Thornton will be officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens West Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Joe was born April 15, 1966 in Bastrop, LA and passed away May 7, 2012 in Monroe. He was owner/operator of West Monroe Mobile Homes. Joe loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman . Joe was a true friend and will be deeply missed. He was most of his friends' and family's first call when they needed something. Joe impacted people good, bad or otherwise; “He was a mountain of a man.” Joe was preceded in death by his brothers, Max Raymond Lindsey and Daniel Ellis Blakeney. Joe is survived by his wife, Lisa Lindsey, son, Joseph Lindsey, daughters, Amanda Lindsey and April Lindsey, granddaughter; Emalyn Lindsey and due in July Raelyn Lindsey, his parents, Myrl and Roger Blakeney, father, Max R. Lindsey, sisters, Sherrill Lindsey and Shonnette Blakeney, numerous nieces, nephews and his pet Duck. Pallbearers will be Kevin Morris, Kevin Tolar, Darin Patrick, Jordan Patrick, Willis Whorton and David Mc Manus. Honorary pallbearers will be A.L. Bethea and Amado Leija Visitation will be held Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
