Linda & Jim Smith left a message on July 15, 2019:
Linda Sue & Family, We are so sorry and our hearts break with yours at this time. He was such a kind man and with a beautiful heart. We always enjoyed his company and will always remember seeing him with his camera so he wouldn’t miss a cherished memory. We loved hearing of all the fishing stories and places Rodger and Joe Allen had been. What beautiful memories! As our hearts mourn for the loss of a such good man. We are also so happy that Joe Allen loved our beautiful Savior, Jesus and had found salvation through Him. Our prayers will continue to be with you and the entire family today and in the future to ease this pain in your hearts. Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. We Love You All, Linda & Jim Smith (Brenda Riley’s Sister)

Linda to you and your family Jeff and I express our deepest sorrow. As you know the Riley family has been my family also and I have been blessed to know Joe Allen all these years. He has always made me feel special and never missed texting me on holidays just to wish us well. What a thoughtful generous person! He loved you all so much. May you be comforted by the memories and pray Gods loving arms around you in the days to come. Love you all. Jeff and Kim

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of such a wonderful man. I met Mr and Mrs Riley recently due to the tornado in Ruston. I talked to Mr Riley everyday sometimes several times a day. May God wrap his arms around each of you during this very difficult time. I am really going to miss him.
