Funeral services for Joan Franks Boyd will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 15, 2023 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Rev. Butch Pilcher officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Joan was born February 5, 1943 and entered into eternal rest May 11, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. JR Franks and Marguerite Stovall Franks; sister Patsie Stinoff and son Jason Boyd. Joan loved her dogs and cats and was always finding strays to bring home. She would always have food or cakes prepared for visitors.
Joan is survived by her son Damon Bagwell and two grandchildren Mason and Malancy Bagwell; brother Sonny Franks and wife Barbara; several nieces and nephews.
