Jo Ann “Jojo” Chapman Luebkeman of Monroe, LA went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 12, 2021 at age 83. JoAnn was born in Hamburg, AR on May 5, 1938 where she discovered her love for singing.
JoAnn was a graduate of University of AR at Monticello with a BA in Music. She earned a master’s degree from both University of AR
in Music and Northeast LA University (ULM) in Performing Arts. She was also a professor of Music for Northeast LA University for 20 years. She loved singing, music, travel, and spending time with her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert J Chapman and Florene Hill Chapman; brother, Houston Lane Chapman; and her sister Mary Chapman Vick.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert Lee Luebkeman; Son, William R Luebkeman and his wife, Kimberly and grandson,
Jacob; Son, David A Luebkeman; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. A small gathering for family and friends for the celebration of her
life will be announced at a later date.
