Jimmy Worthington 59, passed away November 15, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital, Monroe, LA. Mr. Worthington was born November 26, 1960 to James Isaac Worthington and JoAnn Worthington in Longview, TX. Jimmy was a loving husband, father, uncle, son, and Pops. He was preceded in death by his father James Isaac Worthington and daughter-in- law Kelly Worthington.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Lisa Worthington of Start, LA; his mother, JoAnn Worthington of Olive Branch, MS.; 2 sons, Dale Worthington (Christi) of Pocahontas, AR, Justin Worthington of West Monroe, LA; daughter, Kristen Buchanan (Jordan) Of Olive Branch, MS; brother, Curtis Worthington (Patricia) of Terrell TX; sister Pam Branch (Darrell) of Olive Branch, MS; granddaughter, Skylar Buchanan; grandson, Tyler Buchanan; many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jerry McMasters, Damon Branch, Kaden Branch, Dustin Worthington, Charles Glen Erwin, Bobby Morris and Charles Townsend.
Special Thanks to Saint Francis Medical Center nursing staff for their compassion during Jimmy’s Illness.
Due to the climate of caution, masks and social distancing will be required during the visitation and services.

To Jimmy's family and friends...I pray the sweet sweet. Sprit of Jesus overshadow the loss and comforts your hearts, because Jimmy is with the Lord.
Not only was he my cousin, he was my Special Buddy. I took him on a two week trip across 7 states in an 18 wheeler when he was just 17 years old. Jimmy would see a historical building or place and would tell me all about it. His historical knowledge was remarkable. He fell in love with a 17 year old waitress at a truck stop in Vergina. That's all he talked about the rest of the trip. I told him he would get over it, and he did over time. Since Lisa came in to his life he has never been happier. I told him God had the perfect woman for him, don't get in a hurry. He listened. I'm going to miss you little buddy!!
That's all I got to say about that.
