Funeral services for Jimmy Turnbow, 62, of Eros, will be held at 4:00 P.M., Monday, July 11, 2022 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Eros, Louisiana. Rev. Neil Wiggley will officiate and interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes ~ West Monroe.
Jimmy was born on December 23, 1959 in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away on July 9, 2022 in Monroe, Louisiana. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a mechanic. Jimmy was an avid fisherman, enjoyed racing and tinkering with antique cars. He was an all around outdoorsmen. Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Fuller; father, Earl L. Turnbow; and brother, Earl Turnbow.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Diane McCurdy Turnbow; sons, James Turnbow and wife Stephanie, Chris Turnbow; grandchildren, Taylor Turnbow, Wesley Turnbow, and Collin Turnbow; sister, Sheila Turnbow; step-sisters, Kayla and Connie; half brothers, James Turnbow, Josh Turnbow, Johnny Turnbow; many nieces, nephews, and other cherished family and friends.
Pallbearers will be James Turnbow, Chris Turnbow, Josh Turnbow, Johnny Turnbow, David Ray, and Mark Thomas.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M., Monday, July 11, 2022 at the church.
