Memorial service for Jewel Osbon will be held Sunday, December 4, 2022, 2:00 PM at Community Baptist Church West Monroe.
Jewel Osbon was born February 21, 1946 in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away November 27, 2022 in West Monroe.
Jewel was preceded in death by her parents Oliver “Bay” Evans and Ola Estelle Evans; brothers Wilbur “Ray” Evans and Gil “Roy” Evans. She was a member of Community Baptist Church. Jewel loved fixing hair and makeup. She loved being around her family and friends, traveling and helping people. Jewel didn’t know how to ask for help but if anyone needed her, she was always there.
Jewel is survived by her son James “Ben” Avant and wife Mary; daughter Lorie Bennett; sister Carolyn “Sue” Fuselier; numerous grandkids and great grandkids, nieces and nephews.
