Jewel Cavender Wilson Funeral services for Jewel Cavender Wilson, 86, of Choudrant, LA will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 25, 2007 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston, LA. Rev. Bill Reid and Rev. Todd Free will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Douglas Cemetery near Choudrant, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, LA. Mrs. Wilson was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and also a member of the Calvary Baptist Church Senior Adult Sunday School Class. She was retired from the fabric department of the Morgan and Lindsey Company in Ruston. Mrs. Wilson is preceded in death by her husband Laverne Wilson. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Walker of Ruston, LA; grandchildren, Gary Walker and his wife Kim; Brenda Rushing and her husband Robert all of Ruston; great grandchildren, Justin Williams, Colby Rushing, Lee Walker, Dylan Rushing, Shana Freeman, James Walker, and Jody Bachus. Pallbearers will be Robert Rushing, Andy Warren, Larry Wilson, Stacy Jones, Shannon Jones, and Buzzy Woods. Honorary Pallbearer will be Clayton Whitehead. . Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Vienna, LA. Visitation was held Sunday, June 24, 2007 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
