Mr. Jess Moore was one of the kindest people I have ever known. He started me as a basketball official in 1987, and never gave up on me even though I wasn't very good. I went on to officiate for twenty five years, but I never would have made it if it weren't for him. My heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Sue and the family upon the loss of a wonderful man.

Jesse was my uncle...when young our family would visit in the summer in Dubach. Always exotic environment as we lived in the north and Louisiana is so far south. Jesse was a man dedicated to his family and sports. I will always have in my memory his laugh...his smile and the stories he would tell in that southern accent. His presence was not a quiet one...I know he will be missed by all who knew him.
