Graveside services for Jesse T. Smith, 85, of West Monroe will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday June 20, 2020. Bro. Don Delukie will officiate. Interment will follow at Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA. Visitation will be held Friday, June 19, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Jesse was born April 5, 1935 in Monroe, LA and passed away June 14, 2020 in Monroe. He grew up in Archibald, LA until he married and moved to Monroe, LA in 1953. Jesse was a member of Jackson Street Church of Christ. He loved to watch LSU and New Orleans Saints play football. Jesse was preceded in death by wife Margie L. Smith; granddaughter Amy Smith; parents Jesse and Minnie Smith; sisters Mildred Jackson and Dee Monnin . He retired from Conway Hospital in 1999 as a maintenance supervisor.

Jesse is survived by his son Lynn Smith and wife Tracy; daughter Sherri Sawyer and husband Steve; grandchildren Jeffrey Smith and wife Dana, Stephanie Munford and husband Matthew, Stacie Lemoine and Husband Sam, Carrie Gautney and husband Joey, Gabby Blackmon and husband Wes; 6 great-grandchildren; sister Dell Free; nieces and nephews that he loved.
