Funeral services for Jeanette C. Dudgeon, 75, of West Monroe will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 16, 2018 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Interment will follow at Cypress Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018.Jeanette was born October 3, 1943 in Copiague, New York and passed away December 13, 2108 in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her father, Sydney Dudgeon; mother and step-father Margaret and George Dingler; aunt, Jaqueline Butler; cousins, Martha Dingler, Sally Schmitt, Bill Dingler and Bobby Dingler. She loved recipe and cooking shows. Her favorite now is NCIS, Cops, and live P.D. As a girl she loved teaching her young cousins to collect eggs from the hen house. She loved walking up the road and visiting relatives. She loved spending as much time as possible with family. Jeanette loved getting dressed up with makeup and all the jewelry she could put on.Jeanette is survived by aunt, Catherine Kay Stump; cousins, Jackie Henderson and husband Billy, April Powell, John Dingler, Melissa Stump, John Stump and wife Jena, Tommy Weaver and wife Diane, Clay McIntosh wife Pam, Eddie Weaver and wife Christy, Lisa Rice, Robert Pickard and wife Vicki.A special thanks to Family Care and her D.S.W. workers, Jackie Morgan, Lakia Dunn, Theresa Amaker, Jean Rutledge, and Dava Blaylock.Pallbearers will be Tommy Weaver, Clay McIntosh, Eddie Weaver, Robert Pickard and John Stump.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.comKilpatrick Funeral HomeWest Monroe

My sincere condolences to the Dudgeon family and friends for your loss. No doubt Ms. Dudgeon lived a long fulfilled life and her family will miss her dearly. Hopefully you can draw comfort from Gods word, as I have, where he promises us that there is going to be a resurrection and that we can be reunited with our loved ones once again - right here on the earth. You have gained your wings now Jeanie!! You will truly be Missed

As a child growing up Jeannie was a wonderful part of my life. Her mom Ms Margret and Mr George watched me when my momma worked. I have wonderful memories of this family. My mom and dad were always such good friends and neighbors! They were Myrtle and Doug Douglas. I would play for hours with 2 large button tins. Jeannie would let me look and hold her pretties!! Rest In Peace sweet lady. Much love
