Graveside services for Jason M. Whitlock, 95, of West Monroe will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 25, 2018 at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Mr. Whitlock was born March 4, 1923 in Ouachita Parish and passed away May 22, 2018 in Monroe. He is preceded in death by his parents, William H. Whitlock and Johnanna Wagoner Whitlock; wife, Elaine Whitlock; sister, Christine Hargrove; brothers, A J Whitlock and Melvin P. Whitlock; granddaughter, Erika Sutherlin and great-granddaughter, Megan McQuillin.He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in World War II; retired from Olinkraft after 42 years; head deacon at Riverview Baptist Church; and led the singing at West Ouachita Senior Center.Mr. Whitlock is survived by his son, Roger Whitlock and wife Sharon; daughter, Kim Hummel and husband Kurt; grandchildren; Jessica Antley and husband Micah, Kristen Mardis and husband Colby, Ron and Alec Hummel, Nikki Albritton, Roger Whit Whitlock, Jr. and wife Tammy, Josh and Tiffany Pate; great-grandchildren, Beau, Kaitlyn and Katherine McQuillin, Hunter and Fisher Binns, Marlee Griffin, Whitney Beth Whitlock, Mason Mardis and a great-great-grandchild, Norah May McDowell; sister, Laura Harrison.Pallbearers will be Micah Antley, Colby Mardis, Whit Whitlock, Beau McQuillin, Alec Hummel and William Allen.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Riverview Baptist Church, 607 Austin Avenue, West Monroe, LA 71292.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com
