Funeral services for Janice Marie McBride Roark will be held at Cedar Crest Baptist Church on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. with Dr. Greg Clark officiating. Visitation will be held at 1:30 p.m. preceding the service under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Janice was born September 7, 1949, in Dallas, Texas where she grew up and passed away in West Monroe on December 8, 2023. She was a member of Cedar Crest Baptist Church for 40 years. Janice and Bill worked together for over 50 years as owners of Tri-State Properties and other business ventures. She was preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Grace McBride and her brothers Gary, James, and Robert.

Janice is survived by her husband, Bill Roark of 50 years; her children April Gay and husband Tim of Glenwood Springs, Colorado and son Ryan Roark and wife Leighe of West Monroe, Louisiana; sister Ann McBride of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren Sara, Will, Evie, Lesleigh, Isaac, and Ryleigh; and one great-grandchild Layla.

The family would like to thank Brenda Rhodes, Suzanne Riggs and Barbara Swanner for their love and attention as well as Amanda Johnson and Ronnie Roberson and a host of other friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Will Boney, Isaac Faz, Mike Rhodes, Bobby Swanner, Tim Gay, and Larry Massey.
