Jamie was born September 23, 1984, in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away May 4, 2024, in Monroe. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob (Sarge) and Vera Boyett, Lionell and Maxine Cavazos, Yvonne McMurry and her son, Mitch Hardey Sr.; uncles, Keith Hodge, Chris Hodge, Jimmy Hodge, Tracey Hodge and Mike Hardey.

Jamie is survived by her children, Desiree Boyett, Malcolm Nelson, Makayla Boyett; parents, Vernon (Spot) and Susie Hodge; sisters, Victoria Etheridge and her husband Joshua, Sara Hardey, Toni Hardey; brothers, Chris Hardey, Mitchell Hardey Jr.; nephews, Devin, Jaxon, Kaleb; aunt, Julie Roy and her husband Joseph; along with many other cherished family and friends.

Jamie’s single greatest earthly accomplishment in life is bringing three beautiful souls into this world. She loved her children so very much.

Hello this is Malcolm Nelson and this is my mom and I'm her son. currently I'm writing about this at 10:59 pm Thursday at school May 8. My mom was a very private woman, she didn't tell a lot of people about her problems. the only one she told was me. She got hurt so many times she closed off herself to the world, but now she shall have no pain, suffering, or agony. I'm sorry If my mom hurted the people close to her as over the years my mom's mind and body was rottting. but In all together I love you momma and everyone that cared for my momma. thank you
