Funeral services for James W. Justice, 83, of Ruston will be held Sunday, September 24, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston with Rev. Andy Hurst officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mr. Justice died Friday, September 22, following a lengthy illness. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Mr. Justice was a former City Councilman for the City of Ruston and a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. James also owned and operated a service station for many years and was a retired school bus driver for Lincoln Parish Schools. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Bessie Louise Manning Justice. He is survived by his son, James W. Justice, Jr and wife Mary of Houma, LA; grandson, James Walter Justice of Bossier City, LA; brother, B.P. ¨Jack Justice of Mansfield, LA; sister, Marguritte Justice Hemmelrath of Little Rock, AR; step granddaughter, Jeanie Plaster and husband Bryan of McKinney, TX; and two step great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Phillip Thomas, Bryan Plaster, Chauncy Howe, David Clark, Jim Grifith, and Bailey Griffith. Honorary pallbearers will be Edward Rolf, B.P. ¨Jack Justice, Dale Gordon, and Norman Sisson. Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Methodist Children≠s Home 901 S. Vienna, Ruston, LA 71270. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time Sunday, September 24, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
