James Robert ¨Jim Dowling Kilpatrick Funeral Home Run Date: Friday November 16 Graveside services for Mr. James Robert ¨Jim Dowling, age 59, of Oklahoma City, OK will be at 10:00 A.M Saturday November 17, 2007 at Greenwood Cemetery in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Rev. Ned Head under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Jim was born November 11, 1948 and passed away November 12, 2007. Mr. Dowling received his graduate and under graduate degrees from Louisiana Tech University. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow Wilson and Lillian Edith Dowling. Jim is survived by sisters: Nancy L. Babington and husband Jim of Baton Rouge, Jo Ann Hybel and husband Dan of Tualatin, OR; brother: Richard Lynn Dowling of Spring, TX. and nieces and nephews. Richard, My condolences to you and your family. I was sorry to read about this in the leader.

Jo Ann, Richard, and Nancy -- Jim was an incredibly creative, bright and talented guy. I remember him vividly as a wonderful friend and neighbor whom I and others admired for so many reasons. Although Jim and I had lost contact, his passing saddens me. My condolences to you all.
