James “Jim” Coughran was born on April 3, 1960 in Elgin, Illinois., and passed away on February 16, 2022 in Bernice, La., at the age of 61. Jim was an avid fisherman. The apple of his eye was his granddaughter Kynlee. He loved woodworking and building things from wood and also enjoyed gardening and working in his flower beds. Jim will be missed by so many.
Left to cherish his memories are his son Zachary Coughran, step-children, Valerie Allbritton, and Billy Horton; granddaughter, Kynlee Coughran; his father Brad Blood, and special friends Darrell Barbo, and Micheal Shirley.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
