James Earl Dooley

June 10, 1932 - April 6, 2020

James Earl Dooley, age 87 of Choudrant, LA passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020.  Jim, as he liked to be called, was born on June 10, 1932.  A private family memorial service will be held at a later date, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home-Ruston.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Joy Dooley, parents, Earl and Maurine Dooley, sister Helen Barrett, brother Edward Dooley and brother Tommie Dooley, son Ronald Alan Forney and son Daryel Forney.  He is survived by brother J.C. (Jew) Dooley (spouse Margie) from Hope AR, daughter Barb Davis (spouse Lex) from Brandon, MS, Rebekah Huang (spouse Jon) from Topeka, KS, Debbie Titone (spouse Michael) from Vicksburg, MS, Brenda Waldrip from Sarasota, FL, Rhonda Jones (spouse Ralph) from Bastrop, LA, Michael Forney (spouse Debbie) from Ruston, LA, Marie Curry (spouse Fred) from Ellisville, MS, James “Russ” Dooley (spouse Steve Griffith) from Dallas, TX, John “Ricky” Dooley (spouse Kimberly) from Chatham, LA, Steven Dooley from St. Louis, MO and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Special thanks to Eddie Bart Waldrip of Quitman, LA who was a good friend to our family and to our father.
