David Mixon, Rev. Ron Townley and Rev. Paul Massey officiating. Interment will follow in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery in Delhi, La. under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.Born February 12th, 1935, in Crowville, La. and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 19, 2008 after a short illness. He is preceded in death by his wife; Carolyn Rurdell Arnold, parents; Martin and Annie Bell Arnold, brothers; W.B. Arnold, Leon Arnold, Denon Arnold. Sisters; Myrtle Arnold, Allie Laura Arnold, Stella Parker, Irma Pickering, Margie Pepper. James served his country for 9 years in the U.S. Army from October 1953 to December 1962. James was a retired construction worker, James was a member for 45 years at The Apostolic Church Of The Lord Jesus Christ in West Monroe, La. pastor, David Mixon. James was better known as ?Papaw?, he loved to joke and play around with his kids and grandkids. His sense of humor will be greatly missed.Mr. Arnold is survived bysons; David Deron and wife Reba of Monore, La., Billy Deron and wife Michelle of Farmerville, La., Danny Arnold and wife Cheryl of West Monroe, La. Ronnie Arnold of Monroe, La. daughter; Barbara McDonald and husband Jesse of Urania, La., brothers; Dewitt Arnold and wife Shirley of Delhi, La., Ray Arnold and wife Margie of Monroe, La., sister; JoAnn Cartlidge and husband Grady of Point, La., Sure Parker of Winnsboro, La., Verlene Almond of Tallulah, La., brother in law; C. L. Rundell and wife Claire of Monroe, La., sister in law; Beth Ann Terry and husband Lanny of Friendswood, Texas. Survived by 15 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Kutnikar and staff and Premier Hospice Staff.Pallbearers will be: Luther Chadwick, Traber Brister, Ryan Mixon, Junior Wilson, Bruce Frith, Traver Self.Visitation will be Thursday, February 21th, 2008, from 5PM until 8PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, La. and Friday, February 22, 2006, from 9:00 AM until service time at The Apostolic Church Of The Lord Jesus Christ Church in West Monroe.
