James Bryan Malone Sr. Kilpatrick Funeral Home Farmerville, LA. Funeral services for Mr. James Bryan Malone, Sr., 85 of Farmerville, LA., will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Antioch Baptist Church in Farmerville, LA. Officiating at the services will be Rev. Scott Jennings. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mr. Malone was a lifelong member of Antioch Baptist Church where he served as deacon for over 50 years and Secretary Treasurer for over 40 years. He was also a veteran of WWII. He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Helen R. Malone, parents, F.O. and Susie Laster Malone and nephew, Eddie L. Hayes, Jr. He is survived by his son, James B. Malone, Jr. and wife Laura of Farmerville, LA; daughter, Sharon M. Britt and husband Robert of Farmerville, LA; sister, Cecil Mae Hayes of Bastrop, LA; Four grandchildren, Bryan Britt and wife Alicia, Wren Jordan and husband Chance, Stephanie Jordan and husband Jesse all of West Monroe, LA; Kelsey Malone of Farmerville, LA; nine great-grandchildren, Gracie and Emmerson Britt, Britt and Jett Jordan, Maci, Jessa, Arlea, and Earyn Jordan all of West Monroe, LA; Avery Grace Baxley of Farmerville, LA; two nieces, Pat Miller and husband Jim of Farmerville, LA; Sue Adams and husband Doyle of Fort Necessity; a host of in-laws, great nieces, nephews and cousins.
