Jacquelyn “Jackie” Alford Holloway, a Houston Resident, went to be with the Father on Friday, July 1, 2016 after a brief illness.Jackie was born on December 18, 1958 to parents Ford and Beulah Alford. She was an educator for 34 years and her passion was teaching the arts to young children. After earning her BA in Early Childhood Education at Northeast Louisiana University in 1980, she taught school in Ouachita, Bossier, and Caddo Parishes in Louisiana, and Harris County in Houston, TXVisitation will be at Kilpatrick's Funeral Home in Monroe, LA,on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 9:30-10:30amwith the Funeral Service to follow at 10:30 A.M. Graveside Service and Burial will be at Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Mt. Hermon, LAat 4pm. She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Ford Alford, and Father-in-law, Jack L. Holloway.She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Rodney Holloway; her daughters, Amy Uffman and husband Connor, of Baton Rouge, LA; Holly Holloway of Houston, TX; her six grandchildren, Ella, William, Audrey Grace, Amelie, Charlotte Uffman and Rory Griffin; her mother, Beulah Alford; and her Mother-in-Law, Jean Holloway.
