Funeral services for Mrs. Jacqueline Jackie Hogan Hamilton will be held Monday, December 17, 2018, at 2:00 pm, at First Baptist Church, Dubach, with Rev. Corey Bruce, assisted by Bro. Barry Joiner and Reagan Colvin. Visitation will be held December 17, 2018, at 1:00 pm, prior to the service. Interment will be at Hamilton Cemetery, Dubach, Louisiana, under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, Louisiana.Mrs. Hamilton was born January 28, 1927, and went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 15, 2018. After completing high school she moved to Norman, Oklahoma where she worked for Douglas Aircraft, as a riveter until the war ended. Mrs. Hamilton moved to Dubach in 1948 where she met the love of her life, Joe Burns Hamilton, Sr. and married on September 23, 1949. Mrs. Hamilton was a member of First Baptist Church of Dubach for 70 years, where for many years she taught Sunday School. Mrs. Hamilton faithfully stood with her husband for 54 years while operating the family owned business of Hamilton and Sons Grocery in Dubach.Mrs. Hamilton is preceded in death by husband of 61 years, Joe Burns Hamilton, Sr.; parents Mr. and Mrs. Holice J. Hogan; and sister Velma Cox. Survivors include daughter, Frances Elaine Rupert, and husband Greg of Dubach; son, Joe Burns Hamilton, Jr., and wife Vicky Hood Hamilton of Dubach; grandchildren, Russell Croxton, and wife Jennifer of Dubach; Toni Croxton Morganthall, and husband Charlie Morganthall of Ruston; Sean Rupert and wife Windy of Fort Worth, Texas; Kristen Hamilton of Dubach; great-grandchildren, Heather Croxton Sullivant and husband Tristan; CJ Morganthall; Amanda Croxton; Cole Morganthall; Ryder Rupert; siblings, Margie Anderson; Charles Hogan; and James Hogan; and several nieces and nephews, other family, and friends.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.
