Shandy, Your Mom was such a mentor to me. I always will hope that one day I can start an impossible IV as good as she could. And her Pecans---not a season goes by that I don't remember all the bags of Pecan HALVES perfect that I bought from her. She always had a smile and never had any time for all the "Bull" there is in Nursing. She just got in there and did the job. She was truly "one of a kind"! I'm just sorry your kids couldn't have had her longer. I hope she could use that old computer I gave her so long ago. I couldn't! She had such beautiful long wavy hair.
