Funeral Services for Jack Nelson Barrett, Jr., age 74, of Bossier City, LA, are scheduled for 11:30 A.M., Friday, November 10, 2023, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, LA. Visitation will be Thursday, November 09, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home.

Jack was born on September 02, 1949, to Jack Nelson, Sr. and Margaret (Bounds) Barrett in Cotton Valley.  Throughout his life, Jack Barrett, Jr. served his country in The United States Army, and would later own his own Mobile Home Transport Company for 40+ years.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Nelson, Sr. & Margaret (Bounds) Barrett, and his son, Brandon Barrett.

He is survived by his children, Joey Roberts and wife Amanda of Texarkana, AR., David Barrett and his daughter Ashlynn of San Antonio, TX., Melissa Blanchard and husband Raymond of Schriever, LA., and Elizabeth Crowson of Shreveport, LA.; his siblings, Max Barrett of Choudrant, LA., Mary Shepard and husband Jim of Ruston, LA; and numerous extended family and friends.
