Funeral Services for Iva “Lou” Howse, 87, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 6, 2020 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Rev. Daniel Goodman officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Howse was born on April 10, 1932 in Philadelphia, MS and passed away on March 2, 2020 in Monroe, LA. She enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with her family. She was an avid L.S.U. Tigers and New Orleans Saints fan. She loved attending church and ministering to the residents of nursing homes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eb and Minnie Posey; her husband of 59 years, Woody Howse; 3 brothers, Billy Wayne Posey, Richard Posey and Hayes Posey, and one sister, Erma Jean Smith.

She is survived by her children, Charles Howse and wife, Dorothy, Sandra Broussard and husband, Rene’, Darrell Howse and wife, Jan, Chris Howse and wife, Misty, and Angie Howse; 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members.

Pallbearers will be her great grandsons, Michael McCallum, Ian Howse, Jacob Broussard, Foxx Bryan, Connor Broussard, Maddox Bryan, Kennedy Broussard, and Cameron Howse.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tanner Howse, and Kyle Broussard.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Thursday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
