Mr. Isaac Peter West Jr. Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral services for Mr. Isaac Peter West Jr., age 83, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 28, 2007, in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Officiating will be Rev. Marla Munn. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Mr. West was born December 3, 1923 in Ripley, TN and passed away July 26, 2007 in West Monroe, LA. Mr. West was a veteran of World War II having served in the Pacific. He was active in business with his family at West Feed and Farm Supply for over 52 years. Mr. West was a member of First United Methodist Church of West Monroe and was also a member of the Fellowship Sunday School class. He was an active member of Davis Island Land Company and Palmyra Hunting and Fishing Club. Although never on staff, he was a constant driving force for Rebel football and baseball. Mr. West was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and three sisters. Mr. West is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margaret Crowder West; sons, Steve West and wife Linda, Richard West and wife Gail; daughter, Cathey Copeland and husband Johnny; grandchildren, Dave West and wife Sarah, Scott West and wife Kelly, Elizabeth West, Julie Vaughan and husband Andy, Matt West and wife Kelley, Brian West and wife Nicole, Sarah West, Josh Copeland, and Jordan Copeland and wife Jade; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Mary Carlisle, sisters-in-law, Bertie West and Frances West; great grandchildren, Hunter, Bailey and Allyson Vaughan, Carson and Chandler West, Caden and Davis West and Kaden Copeland; along with many other family members and friends. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers; Dave, Scott, Matt and Brian West, Josh and Jordan Copeland. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Fellowship Sunday School Class. The West family would like to express their appreciation to all their loyal customers and friends for their support, caring thoughts and visits during this time. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M, Friday, July 27, 2007, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of West Monroe or to the Louisiana Methodist Children≠s Home in Ruston, LA.
