Funeral services for Mr. Isaac "I.C." Crain, 77, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home-West Monroe, with Rev. James Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery – West Monroe, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home-West Monroe. Mr. Crain was born January 9, 1929 in Caldwell Parish, LA, and died July 1, 2006 in West Monroe. Mr. Crain was a retired truck driver for Manville. He was of the Baptist faith, and was a devoted and loving husband, father and most of all, grandfather. Mr. Crain was preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki Day; a brother, Alton Pete Crain; and two sisters, Edna Newell and Beulah Roberts. He is survived by his wife, Nelda Crain; three children, Betty Gregory and husband, Odie; David Crain, Paul Crain and wife, Tanya; son-in-law, Charles Day; sister, Eula West; eight grandchildren, Tammy Hunter and husband Terry, Randall Gregory, Kim Day, Brian Day and wife Crystal, Dustin Crain and wife Brandi, Molli Crain, Brittany Crain and Clayton Crain; one great grandson, Dylan Crain; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Terry Hunter, Dustin Crain, David Crain, Brian Day, Glen Averette and Randall Gregory. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home-West Monroe.
