Funeral services for Howard L. Robinson, 88, of Monroe, are 3:00PM on Wednesday, June 6th, 2012, in the Chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Rev. Johnny Miller officiating. Interment service follows in Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Mr. Robinson was born March 10th, 1924, and passed away on Tuesday, June 5th, 2012 in Bastrop at Cherry Ridge Nursing Home. A retired engineer for Louisiana Gas, Howard was a US Army Air Corps veteran of World War II where he served as a nose gunner on B-24 bombers. He was also a member of the New Hope Baptist Church of Monroe. Survivors include his beloved wife of over 43 years, Martha King Robinson; son, Robert H. “Bob” Robinson and wife, Linda; daughter, Cheryl Quinn and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Brandon Robinson and wife, Marlene, Cheri, Michael, and Richard Quinn; and great grandchildren, Kyle and Ella Robinson. Pallbearers are Henry Hays, Bill Hampton, David Beezley, Sig Gorman, Lanny McVay, and Perry Jeselink. Visitation is Wednesday afternoon from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, 1200 Lamy Lane.
