Funeral services for Houston Calvin Waggoner will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 9, 2018 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Terry Waggoner will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Mr. Waggoner was born March 17, 1921 and passed away June 5, 2018. He is a retired business owner, avid hunter and fisherman and is a World War II Veteran. He is preceded in death by wife Mary Alice Waggoner, son Billy Waggoner, granddaughter Amy Waggoner, parents Jim and Bessie Waggoner, and brothers Prentice, Ellie, Hansford, and John; and previous wife Annie Glendal Jones.Survived by children Jim (Pat), Jan, Mike (Carol), Ann, Lesa (Denny), Larry (Carol), Lori, 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren; brothers Ernest (Cassille) and Jerry (Judy) and sister Dorothy Mae Hargrove.Pallbearers will be Rob Roy Lanier, Andy Lanier, Matthew Houston Waggoner, Seth Lawrence, Mark Hargrove, and Scotty Waggoner.Honorary pallbearers will be Ernest Waggoner, Jerry Waggoner, Jacob Waggoner, Justin Bailey, and Denny Lawrence.Visitation will be held Friday June 8, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.comKilpatrick Funeral HomeWest Monroe, LA
