Helen Foster Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston, LA Graveside services for Mrs. Helen Foster, age 81, of Ruston, will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Simsboro Cemetery in Simsboro Louisiana under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Rev. Stan Pody. Mrs. Foster was born October 28, 1929 and passed away January 17, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Lester Foster of Ruston, LA; children: Barbara Milam of Shreveport, LA, Bill Foster of Stonewall, LA, Kathy Castaneda of Ruston, LA and Dwayne Foster also of Ruston, LA; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. The family would like to express their thanks to AGAPA and the staff of Willow Ridge in Arcadia, LA. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So sorry to here of your loss. Ms Hellen was a wonderful person. She put up with me, for years. Barbara and i lived at her house or mine when we were kids. Ms Hellen always had a smile on her face foe everyone.

Thank you for 48 years of love which only you could give. Your cabbage was the best in the world. your love for our family is a one of a kind. May you rest in peace as you don't hurt anymore. We tried to give you comfort for the last year and hope it helped. I'm sorry that more people didn't care to wish you farewell. roy

We are all going to miss you so very much.You always brought a smile to everyone face.Some of my favorite times was staying in the summer for a few week,s I always hated to come home.She and Uncle Lester always tried to make my Christmas special being that was also my birthday there was 1 year they got me a braclet that had my birthstone on it shaped like a calander page it was so special to me.I remember so fun times we had when we all got a little older but that a different story.She would laugh about them.This is a poem wrote for my Aunt Helen. A SPECIAL TOUCH You touched the live`s of all of those That you chanced to meet You left your part ,within these hearts. With a love true,strong and sweet. A smile a laugh a simple word Could brighten a darkened day A strong embrace in arms of love Could roll the clouds away.
