Hazel T. Barr Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston, LA. Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel T. Barr, age 93, of Ruston, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday June 27, 2007 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston. Officiating will be Dr. Michael Hawley and Bro. Charles Johnson. Interment will follow at the Ebenezer Cemetery in Jackson Parish, LA. under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Mrs. Barr was born August 18, 1913 and passed away June 25, 2007 in Ruston, LA. She is a long time member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ruston, LA where she played the piano for the Sr. Adult Sunday School Class. She was also a very active member and past Worthy Matron with the Order of the Eastern Star. husband of 65 years , Murphy Barr, children: Jane Barr Wallace and husband William of Sulphur, La., Judy Barr Dubea and husband Earl of Pineville, and James Alan Barr; grandchildren: Susan Wallace Gardebled and husband Brent, Kelli Wallace Smith and husband Chad, Jeffrey Paul Dubea and Laura Dubea; great grandchildren: Ryan and James.
