I just now found about Aunt Hazel. I am so sorry!! I loved her so much and have so many fond memories of growing up with her. She was a blast. She was one of the most greatest fish fryers in the world. I loved all the fish fryes that we had. That is not all that I remember. I remember how much she loved me. That is something that is so special to me. Nobody can take that away from me. Kenny, I hope that God gives you a special dispensation from heaven, because i KNOW that you were such a good son to her and you worked so hard to keep the family business alive. Without Uncle Kenneth, it was especially hard. He was the rock of the family business and such a good man. I loved him without end. Still do. I miss him terribly. As I miss all of you. Please know how much I love and miss you. Kathleen

I met Miss Hazel playing Pokino and instantly feel in love with her. She was so sharp and funny that I looked forward to seeing her each month more than actually playing. She was a real treasure and I'll think of her often.

Although I was not able to make the trip to attend Mamaw's service, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Jerome, Kaitlin and Camille send their love and respects too. The stars will shine brighter from now on, since Mamaw is now in Heaven with Papaw and smiling down upon us. May the rest of us do our best to follow in her gracious footsteps.

We were saddened to learn of Aunt Hazel's passing. We remember Christmas at her home and how wonderful the decorations and food were. It was fun to watch her, Daddy, and Aunt Daisy playing chicken feet with dominoes. Our hearts and prayers are with you.

Dear family, Our prayers go out to you at this time. I had the privilege of fishing with Mrs. Hazel when Bassn' Gal started. I was elected to try to take her place in the Twin City Senior Bass Club. She left us with some wonderful memories and we will treasure them as I know that you will.
