Services for Hazel Cummings Little, 95, of Trophy Club, TX, formerly of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 1200 Lamy Lane, Monroe with Reverend William Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens in West Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Hazel was born April 6, 1918 in Monroe, LA and died Monday, June 3, 2013 in Grapevine, TX. She was preceded in death by her father, Marlin Cummings, mother, Vergie Wink Cummings, husband, Roy R. Little, and son, Roy G. Little. Survivors include daughter, Sharon K. Little of Trophy Club, TX; daughter, Debbie Francis and husband, Brian Francis of Trophy Club, TX; daughter in law, Mary Ellen Little of Trophy Club, TX; grandchildren, David Little and wife Hayley of Trophy Club, TX, Matt Little and wife Elizabeth of Lake Charles, LA, and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 PM until 7 PM on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 1200 Lamy Lane, Monroe.

I loved Aunt Hazel. I saw her on her wedding day wearing a powder blue dress which matched her eyes. She looked like a movie star from the Paramount Theater. Throughout her life, Hazel Cummings Little was the Gold Standard for loving and serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In Heaven today with family and friends. Aunt Hazel probably has the biggest wings up there. Peggy

I am so sad to hear of Aunt Hazels passing. I can hear her singing in the kitchen. I have such great memories of going to her house and sharing a meal. She was always happy and humming. She had such a love for God and was such a Godly woman. I am sorry I could not be with you all today ,but know that you are in my prayers. I love you all, Bettie.
